About Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs)
Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) are technologies designed to protect individual privacy. In today's world, where vast amounts of personal data are held by companies, ensuring the secure preservation and utilization of this data is essential. PETs address these challenges through innovations such as confidential computing, which enables advanced analysis on encrypted data, synthetic data that generates similar but non-identifiable data, and techniques like k-anonymity that make identifying individuals more difficult.
