What is Confidential Computing?
Confidential Computing is technology that allows data to be processed while still encrypted. It not only ensures data confidentiality but also provides integrity verification - ensuring the executing code matches the pre-disclosed code.
In Japan, confidential computing has been recognized as an essential technology for the Government Cloud. Overseas, companies such as Apple and Google have announced its use, and adoption has expanded globally, including by the U.S. Navy and Army.
